Teaching Objects is a journey through art and culture. Jeroen Lutters takes us to see a number of artworks that give new insights into the foundations of twenty-first-century civilization and humanity. In this highly personal and passionate account, he discusses his individual ‘collection’ of great works—works that not only reflect the history of Western culture, but also continue to be a source of inspiration and meaning.

Jeroen Lutters is a cultural historian and specializes in art and culture education. He is rector of the Bernard Lievegoed University in Driebergen and Arnhem and a lecturer at both the Windesheim University of Applied Sciences in Zwolle and the ArtEZ Institute of the Arts in Arnhem. He resides in the Netherlands.
